It’s hard for me to explain the charge I get out of shooting weddings. I guess its the combination of energy and emotion with the challenge of having to get it right that gives me such an incredible adrenaline rush. There are no do-overs–you have one chance to nail the shots. I absolutely thrive on this type of challenge!
Another thing about weddings is how incredibly inspiring these events are. They celebrate all of the best parts of culture: commitment, family, passion, celebration, spirituality, new beginnings. They are such special days, each one of them unique–and that is how I approach them: uniquely.
I do not offer by-the-numbers packages. I custom tailor a package around you and your special day. This is just one difference between me and the traditional wedding photographers. Another major difference is that I am a working photojournalist; I have trained to see and capture the images that most people miss. Of course, I shoot the traditional shots, but my primary focus is on capturing the moments that you will treasure for a lifetime.
