SRP - TESTBED
My photography is rooted in photojournalism. It started with shooting for my high school yearbook, and has continued through my shooting for newspapers and magazines. I am constantly thrilled by the challenge of capturing the essence of people as they are, unposed and natural. Rather than have clients come into a studio and sit in front of a traditional backdrop, I go to them and shoot as if they are being profiled for a publication.
My goal is to produce dynamic and interesting images with story-telling qualities–and that is simply not going to happen in a studio under artificial lights. It is going to happen where you are most comfortable, where you live, work, and play. It is going to happen when families are together interacting, when the camera is an unobtrusive observer.
