“In our Backyard, a Weekly Look at Life in Hanover County” was a publication project of mine that ran weekly in the Hanover Herald-Progress from August ’07 until February ’09, when it fell to the budget ax. During its run, the series garnered nine photography awards from the Virginia Press Association.
