This was part of the spread my sister-in-law put out to celebrate her son’s high school graduation.
I’d love to know just what it is these guys eat. They all poke around like mad, but I never see what they come up with. And, whatever it is, they either get a lot of it, or it’s really loaded with something, because it sure keeps these birds energized. [simpleviewer gallery_id="15"]
This weekend, GRAL (the Greater Richmond Aquatics League) held their annual Champs meet at George Mason’s Freedom Aquatic Center in Manassas. As Beau qualified for a couple of individual events and was selected to participate in a couple relays, we made the day-long trip up for the event. On this page are some of the [...]
St Paul’s enjoyed a wonderful weekend of fellowship, hosted by Anne & Elmo Cross at their home on Garden Creek.
Tonight was a perfect two-fer: I had never had the pleasure of seeing the Taters or going to the Henrico Theatre. It was a double dose of good times. Check out the whole gallery!
St Paul’s held their annual “End of Sunday School” picnic today. Even though it stormed earlier and was overcast all morning, the weather held off and the congregation enjoyed a great meal and fellowship. Thanks to Anne Cross for organizing the event to everyone else who helped out! Complete Gallery!

Violin virtuoso Mark Wood played to a packed house at Atlee HS tonight, backed by string orchestras from Chickahominy MS, Atlee HS, and Lee-Davis HS. They blew the roof off the joint as they ripped through a high-powered catalog that included Crazy Train, Viva La Vida, Stairway to Heaven, Eleanor Rigby, and Carry On My [...]

Congratulations to all those baptized, confirmed, and received today, and thanks to all who contributed to the wonderful reception held afterwards! Prints Available
Lexa and some friends got together at Panera’s for a quick bite and some pix before heading to the 8th Grade Dance.

This is about as cool as it gets…sitting in on the Robbin Thompson Band’s last rehearsal before their reunion gig at the National this coming Saturday night. An incredible fly-on-the-wall experience.
The whole clan descended on Kahill’s for lunch today, and what a wonderful way to spend an afternoon indoors. As always, Tom Flowers was a perfect host and the food was spot on. No one left the table with any room left inside. Personally, I found a new favorite in the Lunenburger, a nice hamburger [...]
Yesterday morning I had the opportunity to photograph the interior of the Hanover Courthouse. I was glad to be able to do this before renovations begin in November. Thanks, Anne! Prints Available
