The Bishop of Virginia, The Rt. Rev. Shannon S. Johnston, visited St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hanover today. It was a very energetic visit, to say the least. Lexa & Annette went blue today, from hair to toes. From what I understand, it was a painful process (they used tempera paints as opposed to a body dye). The paint dried, cracked, and peeled – which had the unwelcome side-effect of removing hair. It was itchy and uncomfortable. It left blue marks on almost everything they touched. But,... 

Hip, Hip, Hoo-ray! Hanover Country minted over 1400 graduates yesterday in four ceremonies. It was a LONG day, starting at 8:30am and wrapping up around 8:30pm, but so worth it. Hats off to everyone – the Hanover County School Board, the school administrations, the teachers, the parents, and to the VCU staff – all who participated...

Today was the annual Texas Festival at Kenston Forest School in Blackstone. It’s been years since I’ve been able to make it down for this all-you-can-eat extravaganza.
